July Update!!

Hiya peeps! Wanted to share an update, since it’s now coming up on the end of July.

Where does time go? Only bad thing about being this busy, is losing time. I need to get an old school organizer to keep me on track with all my different projects.

But! I plan (hope, dream, wish, want) to keep up with this blog more, because I really do love having this outlet. I wanted to share some exciting news with you guys!

So, PetCo was having a 50% off sale on all their reptiles this weekend, and we couldn’t resist. While we don’t normally buy pets from them if we can help it, sometimes we just can’t pass it up. We are addicted.

Meet my newest leopard geckos! They are both girls, and so darn cute!

This one has a perfect circle on her back, and it’s just perfect! So darn cute.

We also picked up some panther chameleons, however chams tend to get stressed when they are first moved, so we are giving them a week or so before we bombard them with cameras and fuss over them too much. Pictures of them to come later, so stay tuned!

Other than that, we are keeping super busy, as I mentioned. God is blessing us so much, in many different areas, and I’m just thrilled to see where He’s taking our lives.

It’s been a hot Summer so far, and our house is in the 80s usually, as swamp coolers usually cool the area down about 20 degrees from outside, and it’s been in the 100s. It’s hot. Very, very hot.

We’ve been getting a bunch done though, and still kicking butt!

What have you been up do this Summer? Drop a comment and let me know!

Also, do you enjoy seeing posts about my pets? I’d love to do a series showing them all, but only if you guys want to see them. Let me know in the comments! 😀

Thanks a bunch for visiting! Have a fantastic day, be nice to someone for no reason, and kick some butt this week!

Ciao for now,

Hiya! Happy May!

Hiya dudes! How’s your May going? Mine so far, is hot. Very, very hot.

So, if you haven’t noticed, I took a couple weeks off from blogging. The posts in April zapped my brain, and I’ve loved recharging over the last few weeks. That, and my animal rescues and biz/store are going nuts.

For those who don’t know, I run a guinea pig rescue/cavie family growth program, Rozie’s Guinea Pig Oasis, as well as a small-pets rescue, Rozie’s Rescues. I’ve taken in quite a few furry little critters lately, and I love it! I also co-run Desert Rat Exotics, where we rescue reptiles and exotic pets, in conjunction with Rozie’s Rescues. It’s a lot of work, but it’s awesome.

We’re growing everything up and getting our spaces more organized, so caring for the animals doesn’t take up quite so much of our time. That’s my biggest priority at the moment though, aside from writing and my blogs.

I’ve also started up another project I don’t quite have the guts to share yet, and am in the process of starting up another one. Good grief, when I type it all out, I’m busy a.f.! haha

Anywho, I hope you lovely people are having a fantastic May, and the end of school/start of Summer stuff is going smoothly.

Much love to you all! Thanks for visiting! =D

Ciao for now,

B-Day Post #28 ~ Never. Stop. Loving.

Hiya dudes! It’s my birthday!!!

I’m so excited today, because I’ve not only reached today, but got all 28 lessons done! At least, I will with this one. I had to double up this week, but we got it all done.

My lesson today, is by far the most important lesson I’ve ever learned, and the one I grip to the hardest.

Never. Stop. Loving.

This isn’t just romantic, either. You need to love with everything you’ve got, for everything you care about. Your family, friends, passions, dreams, and especially yourself.

Without love, life is pointless. It’s dull, dark, and lonely.

We need love to survive. Love is so important, it’s something countless people have fought and died for throughout eternity.

No matter what happens in your life, you always have the choice to choose love.

Lesson #28: Never. Stop. Loving.

Thanks for following this series. I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I have. Either way, I had fun, and now I’m going to go celebrate my birthday!

Love you guys.

B-Day Lesson #27 ~ Make A Bucket List, Then Actually Do it!

Hiya dudes! Another lesson for you today.

Make a bucket list, then actually do the things on it.

This one can be as simple or as complicated as you want it. The goals on it are all yours, but the the lesson is simple – don’t just dream, do it!

Achieve those goals, because that’s what a bucket list is! They’re goals – things you want to do before you die. So do them!

Don’t wait til you’re old. Do it now!

Travel! Have fun! Eat the cake! Go see Bali!

Lesson #27: Make a Bucket List, Then Actually Do it!

B-Day Post #26 ~ Explore Other Cultures

Hiya dudes! Here’s another lesson for you:

Explore Other Cultures.

Don’t be so sheltered that you never experience another culture.

Whether it’s food, music, clothes, languages, or society, branch out.

You can’t imagine the things you’ll learn, when you actually explore other cultures. The world is huge, and people are amazing. Go see for yourself.

Lesson # : Explore Other Cultures

B-Day Post #25 ~ Don’t Be A Brat

Hiya dudes! Another lesson for you today:

Don’t Be A Brat

No one likes a brat. They contribute nothing to society, and no matter how popular or loved they think they are, everyone around them just wishes they’d stop already.

Being a brat isn’t cute. It isn’t funny. No one likes it.

If you’re a brat, knock it off. The world will thank you.

Lesson # : Don’t Be A Brat

B-Day Post #24 ~ #DontJudge

Hiya dudes! I’ve got another lesson for you today.

I love this movement, and if  you haven’t heard of it yet, you should jump on board.

No one enjoys being judged – I’m sure you don’t. The only way to stop judging from being an accepted norm, is to stop ourselves from judging, and show others it can be done. It’ll ripple from there, and before you know it, judging could become odd.

That’s a world I’d like to live in – where we don’t judge each other.

Now, there is a difference between judging and honestly trying to help someone. Asking a chain-smoker if you can help them try to quit isn’t judging. Rolling your eyes every time they pull one out, scoffing, or making sarcastic comments is judging.

If you can’t tell the difference, one comes from a place of love, and the other comes from negativity and toxic behavior.

This lesson does come with a good dose of respect, as well. If you act in love and offer to help, and they say no, part of not judging someone is respecting their decisions. They are human, and they have the right to make their own choices, and we need to respect others just as much as we need to stop judging them.

Everyone deserves to live in a happy world. The way we make the world happy, is to start with ourselves, and one big way, is to stop judging others.

Lesson #19: #Don’tJudge
